Board Members are expected to:
Attend both staff and board meetings. If a situation makes it impossible to attend, board members are required to contact Jackie.
Take on leadership roles and jobs to ensure INWEY fulfills the responsibilities outlined in our mission statement
Provide meaningful mentorship to staff members that promotes a positive working relationship
Practice confidentiality in respecting privacy of individuals and families that we support
Practice confidentiality in respecting content of board members and contents of meeting
Represent and promote INWEY in a positive manner within our community. Negative comments are to be brought to the board table only.
Purchase and maintain a $5 yearly membership to INWEY/SK
