Background and Experience
Istanbul Medipol University is a private non-profit university in Istanbul, Turkey. IMU was established in 2009 by Turkey Education Health and Research Foundation. Many associate degree programs are provided by four vocational schools in the social, technical, health, and medical fields. IMU has 71 undergraduate programs in 13 schools, and 24 of these programs are taught in English. The Undergraduate Schools are the International School of Medicine, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Engineering and Natural Sciences, Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Law, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, Communication, Education, and the College of Health Sciences.
Istanbul Medipol University significantly aims to provide high-quality education at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and it puts so much importance on program quality assurance in education with 23 programs already accredited and ongoing accreditation efforts for other programs.
Klaipeda University
Klaipėda University was officially established on January 1, 1991, by decree of the Seimas (Lithuanian Parliament). The new university integrated the existing colleges in the city.
In the beginning, there were 3,000 students and three faculties (Humanities and Natural Sciences, Marine Engineering, and Pedagogy). It has now grown to seven faculties and eight institutes: the faculties of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Humanities, Marine Engineering, Art, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, and Health Sciences; Maritime Institute, Seascape Institute, Institute for Continuing Studies, Institute for Coastal Planning and Research, Institute for History and Archeology of the Baltic Sea Region, Institute for Regional Planning and Policy, Institute for Mechatronics and Institute for Musicology.
Klaipeda University's mission is to provide a partnership between the academic, social, and business environments for innovative science, public welfare, and the education of creative personalities. KU develops long-term strong social and business partnerships with companies in the Baltic Sea region.
Kodolányi János University
Kodolányi János University is a private higher education institution in Hungary, which was established in Székesfehérvár in 1992 by Lajos Rockenbauer and Péter Szabó, with the support of former Minister of Education Bertalan Andrásfalvy. The main campus is located in Budapest. It has regional campuses in Székesfehérvár and Orosháza as well. The university embraces the mission of fostering moral citizenship and promoting local identities.
As of 2022, Kodolányi János University employs more than 200 highly qualified faculty members making KJU the biggest non-governmental, non-profit institution of higher education in Hungary. During the last several years, Kodolányi János University (KJU) has developed more than 260 partnerships with institutions in 36 countries worldwide, where student, faculty, trainee exchange programs, and international R&D projects will be provided. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Hungarian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution.
State University of Applied Science in Konin
State University of Applied Sciences in Konin (SUAS) is the only state-supported school of higher education in the town and the region, and it was founded in 1998. It offers a Bachelor’s degree, or the title of an engineer, and a Master's Degree Studies (Philology). Graduates (Bachelors) are prepared for future employment or have the right to continue their education within the Master’s degree programs in the school. There are three faculties, and students can choose among 20 study programs. Moreover, it offers various postgraduate courses and workshops as well. It has four divisions, such as Engineering Faculty (Environmental Engineering, Architecture, and Mechanical Engineering), Philology Faculty (Philology, Modern Languages), Physical Education and Health Faculty (Sports, Physical Education), and Social Sciences and Economics Faculty (Social Work, Economics).
The main mission of SUAS is to contribute to the professional development of the students and academic and administrative staff since International cooperation is perceived as an important element of education. It also aims to maintain strong student internship programs in cooperation with foreign companies by associating with 40 partner institutions in Europe within the framework of mobility programs and a number of new partnerships.
University of Pitesti
University of Pitesti (Universitatea din Pitesti) is the first Higher Education Institution in Piteşti and was founded in 1962. When the university was founded, it was called "The 3-year Pedagogical Institute" with academic specialisations in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Philology and Physical Education, and Sports. The university became autonomous and received the name "University of Pitești" in 1991. University of Pitești consists of 6 faculties and 16 departments. Since Pitești is renowned for being the largest Romanian Language Training Center for Foreign Students, the quality of education is provided by the academic staff, but also for students from all over the world. Universitatea din Pitesti (UPIT) provides courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, such as pre-bachelor degrees, bachelor degrees, and master's degrees in several areas of study.
The University of Pitesti ranked 20th in Romania and 3752nd in the World 2022 overall rankings, plus ranked in 29 academic topics. UPIT aims to provide quality education and career opportunities, where the university successfully provides European Union-funded programs and website-based informative newsletters for its students.
