Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ImportLog ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the App.

1. License Grant

1.1 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Install and use the App on your personal devices

• Access features according to your subscription tier (Free or Premium)

• Store and manage your car import expense data

1.2 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

• Use the App for any illegal purpose

• Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App

• Use the App to harm others or the service

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

To use ImportLog, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age

• Provide accurate and complete information

• Maintain the security of your account credentials

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• All activity under your account

• Maintaining password confidentiality

• Any charges incurred through your account

• Backing up your data

2.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms

• Engage in fraudulent activity

• Abuse the service or other users

• Remain inactive for extended periods

3. Subscription and Payments

3.1 Subscription Plans

ImportLog offers two tiers:

Free Tier:

• 5 cars maximum

• 30-day expense history

• Offline functionality

• Basic features

Premium Tier:

• Unlimited cars

• Unlimited expense history

• Cloud sync across devices

• Advanced analytics

• Priority support

Pricing:

• Monthly: $4.99 USD per month

• Yearly: $49.99 USD per year

3.2 Payment Processing

• All payments processed through Google Play Billing

• Prices may vary by region

• Prices subject to change with notice

• Currency conversions handled by payment processor

3.3 Subscriptions

Auto-Renewal:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled

• You will be charged within 24 hours of renewal date

• Cancel anytime through Google Play Store

Free Trial (if applicable):

• Free trial converts to paid subscription unless canceled

• Cancel before trial ends to avoid charges

• One free trial per user

Cancellation:

• Cancel anytime via Google Play Store subscriptions

• Access continues until end of billing period

• No refunds for partial periods

3.4 Refund Policy

• Refunds subject to Google Play Store policies

• Contact us within 7 days for refund consideration

• No refunds for used portions of subscription

• Premium features removed immediately upon refund

4. User Content and Data

4.1 Your Data

You retain all rights to:

• Car information you enter

• Expense records you create

• Photos you upload

• Any other content you generate

4.2 Data Storage

Local Storage:

• All data stored locally on your device

• You are responsible for device backups

Cloud Storage (Premium):

• Optional cloud sync via Firebase

• Subject to Firebase Terms of Service

• Encrypted during transmission and storage

4.3 Data Backup

Your Responsibility:

• Regularly backup important data

• We recommend enabling cloud sync (Premium)

• Export data regularly from Settings

Our Responsibility:

• Maintain reasonable security measures

• Perform regular system backups

• Not liable for data loss due to user error

4.4 Data Deletion

Upon account deletion:

• Local data deleted from device

• Cloud data deleted within 30 days

• Some data retained for legal compliance

• Backups purged within 90 days

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

ImportLog is for:

• Personal car import expense tracking

• Business record keeping

• Financial management

• Tax preparation assistance

5.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use ImportLog for:

• Illegal activities or fraud

• Money laundering or tax evasion

• Sharing or selling accounts

• Automated data scraping

• Uploading malicious content

• Harassing or spamming others

• Impersonating others

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

ImportLog and all related content, including:

• App design and layout

• Source code and algorithms

• Trademarks and logos

• Documentation and guides

Are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6.2 User-Generated Content

By uploading content, you grant us:

• Non-exclusive right to store and display

• Right to backup and sync (Premium users)

• Right to use for service improvement

• Right to comply with legal requests

We will NOT:

• Use your data for advertising

• Sell your data to third parties

• Share without permission (except service providers)

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 Service Availability

ImportLog is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE":

• No guarantee of uninterrupted service

• May have bugs or errors

• Subject to maintenance and updates

• Features may change or be discontinued

7.2 Financial Advice

ImportLog is NOT:

• Financial advice or tax guidance

• A substitute for professional accounting

• Guaranteed accurate for tax purposes

• Responsible for financial decisions

• Tax preparation and filing

• Business accounting

• Financial planning

• Legal compliance

7.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are NOT liable for:

• Lost profits or business opportunities

• Data loss or corruption

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Damages exceeding subscription fees paid

Maximum Liability: Amount paid in last 12 months

7.4 No Warranty

We do NOT warrant:

• Error-free operation

• Compatibility with all devices

• Uninterrupted availability

• Fitness for particular purpose

• Accuracy of calculations

8. Third-Party Services

ImportLog integrates with:

Firebase (Google):

• Authentication and cloud storage

• Subject to Google's Terms of Service

RevenueCat:

• Subscription management

• Subject to RevenueCat's Terms

Google Play Billing:

• Payment processing

• Subject to Google Play Terms

You agree to comply with all third-party terms.

9. Updates and Modifications

9.1 App Updates

We may:

• Release updates and new features

• Fix bugs and security issues

• Modify or discontinue features

• Change system requirements

Your Responsibility:

• Keep app updated

• Check compatibility before updating

• Backup data before major updates

9.2 Terms Updates

We may update these Terms:

• With or without notice

• Posted in-app and on website

• Continued use constitutes acceptance

Upon termination:

• Local data remains until app uninstalled

• Cloud data deleted within 30 days

• Subscriptions follow Google Play refund policy

• No refund for unused subscription time

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms governed by laws of Nigeria.

12.2 Informal Resolution

• We will attempt good-faith resolution

12.3 Arbitration

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign to affiliates or successors.

Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
