The deadline to register is 21 days before the next election day.
You can register online using the link below.
Voters can choose to complete a paper voter registration form, and submit it to a county elections office to update their information.
Many voters are automatically registered when they go to the DMV. Learn more about Oregon’s Motor Voter Act.

Active registered voters receive an official ballot to complete and return. A ballot can be mailed or dropped off at any official drop box across the state.
Decide whether you will vote early, by mail, or by dropping it off at a ballot drop site.
Alternate-format ballots are available for (1) military or overseas voters or (2) voters who, due to a disability, need to mark their ballots electronically before printing and mailing.
Access Oregon's online ballot-marking tool if you need this service.
Normally, a ballot will be mailed to the address at which you are registered approximately two weeks before an election. Visit MyVote to check your registration information and track your ballot. If you do not receive your ballot as expected, contact Benton County Elections office at 541-766-6756 or elections@bentoncountyor.gov
Changing your party affiliation is simple and isn't permanent. You can change back at any time after the election. Visit MyVote for more information.
If you will be away from home during an election period, arrange to vote absentee using this form.
Yes. Once released from incarceration a person is immediately eligible to vote again, but they must re-register (or update their registration). Voters should double check to make sure their address is accurate when registering or updating their registration.
You can update your voter registration information, until 8 p.m. on Election Day and still cast a ballot. However, if your registration is updated close to an election, your ballot might have to be issued at the county elections office.
If your ballot arrives damaged, you make a mistake, spill something, lose your ballot, or for any other reason, contact Benton County Elections office at 541-766-6756 or elections@bentoncountyor.gov to request a replacement ballot.
