Research

Our research group studies long-term vegetation dynamics. A minor part is linked to a case study, where vegetation dynamics is followed in permanent plots and by vegetation maps. The current research focus, however, lies in the estimation of current and future potential natural vegetation (PNV) and the analysis of PNV patterns for base science and applications. We place particular weight on making our results available for further research and applications. Thus most of our results are available through databases.
