History of TMT

TMT has been held at the University of Greenwich (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023), the University of Surrey (2014), the University of York (2015), and Manchester Metropolitan University (2017).  Since the pandemic the conference talks have been delivered online.

Tomorrow's Mathematicians Today was initiated after Noel-Ann Bradshaw took a group of undergraduates to an IMA conference for younger members (now renamed as Early Career Mathematicians) and felt that undergraduates would benefit from attending and presenting at similar events. Our experiences of putting on the first UK undergraduate mathematics conference have been described in Compass: the Learning and Teaching Journal for the University of Greenwich and also in Mathematics Today: full references are given below.
