It all began with Khandaan-e-Ustaad / Ustaad Gharana — a Household Deeply Rooted in Knowledge, Spirituality, and Service. For Generations, this respected family, also known as Imam Family, Played a Central role in Educating Scholars in both Islamic Sciences and Worldly Studies. 

Many Prominent Ayatullah's, Allama's, Maulana's, Scholar's, Poet's, Shayar's were students of this Family, which became a Symbol of Scholarship and Guidance across the region.

Building upon this Powerful Legacy, Syed Raza Imam Rizvi Zangipuri, with Blessing's of his Elders and with the Support of his Brother, Syed Jawad Imam Zangipuri, Envisioned and Established IMAM UNIVERSITY ZANGIPUR (IUZ). 

Through his Vision and Commitment, The University was Established as a Beacon of Knowledge, Faith, and Scholarly Excellence, His Leadership have Created a Center of Learning that Nurtures Knowledge, Culture, and Faith for Communities Far and Wide , His vision was to expand the Mission of Khandaan-e-Ustaad from Zangipur and Ghazipur to the International Stage,Globally  — offering quality education that blends tradition with modernity.
