Since the start of this project the team not only conducts workshops but constantly tinkers with new ideas and develops new activities. On this page, you will find the different activities we have already conducted, whether as a workshop for school classes, as a summer or a family workshop. For each activity, you will find a description, photos and videos. On our German site, we have also uploaded our planifications and worksheets.
In this activity colourful and diverse minigolf lanes are created using recycling material, different sensors and actors as well as one little computer.
Everybody has driven with a remote control car. But build and program them? No problem. Starting with a shoebox and two micro:bits (one for the motors, the other for the remote control), we create tractors, fire engines, unicorns and much more.
We all have built domino lanes. But what if this domino lane was to be controlled by motors and sensors? What if we were to have programmed them ourselves? Well, nothing easier than that!
Micro:bits are not only fascinating to tinker with, they also shine as a piece of decoration. Our programmable picture frame is proof for this. All parts are handmade - with the help of a 3D-printer, a laser cutter and a cutting plotter.
There are a lot of things you can do just with a micro:bit without additional electronic components. Learn how to build your own table piano or program an automatic rock-paper-scissors game.
