Thank you for everything! ~Imaginate (2012-2024)
♡ The game is the 6th entry of the Adventures franchise, as it serves as a direct sequel to Adventures: Homecoming and a special game for the Adventures series' 5th Anniversary (last year). However, creator of the series, Ulah Borkowski, has left the company of Imaginate, leaving the direction and production of the game up to Jason Murph (Cappy). But this doesn't mean that it's part of Cappy's creations (Heroes, Peppermint, and Alvin). ♡
○ For the game's story, it will tell the tale of Hannah and her allies Dakota and Waylen, as they set sail in searching for 3 islands for 3 Limitless Lunars, magical moon-like artifacts that can grant one person a wish. However, she must defeat a group of serious military soldiers, the Sailor Champions, who has taken over the flooded Worldium, as well as some evil pirates.
To undo the Admin's act of sinking half of the Worldium, Hannah must wish upon the Limitless Lunars to unsink it in order for everyone to live back on solid and fresh grounds again, once she collects all 3 of them. Despite that, Dr. Darkness has been planning, scheming, and is ready to fight Hannah when he has the chance. ○
Anew to the series, Adventures: Epic takes on a 2.5D world between the action role-playing and platformer genres. Critically inspired by titles Kingdom Hearts, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past/The Wind Waker, and Xenoblade Chronicles and due to being a Google Slides game, players have to interact with the presentation. For exploration, players have to point the player character (Hannah) to different directions in flat surfaces, including interacting with NPCs.
For combat, the players have to click on an enemy to navigate to and select a variety of Combat Cards (the game's choice of combat) to defeat them. Players enter combat when they've encounter an enemy around them.
It is going to be on Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the Microsoft Edge browser (for Xbox users) and the Google Chrome browser (for PC) to use Google Slides.
It will be released in Mid 2023.
This is marketed as an anniversary title to the series' 5th anniversary, despite being 2 years late.
Despite the game being made on a PC and can also be played on a PC, the Xbox buttons are present during gameplay.
It is developed by Imaginate. Ri Studios and Round 1 Industries are not needed for the project.
Adventures: Epic will be the final installment of the series.
The game is finally done!
Set sail!
