My online learning experience has been filled with varying emotions and thoughts. The memes I created below use edited pictures of myself and of my friends/family (my sister, my twin brother, my dad, my best friend) to offer a glimpse into the learning experience I have had so far in this class while adding a touch of humour.
I started off thinking I'd fail online learning and have minimal interest in the content around teaching adults online.
The process of posting online, having classes online and engaging in the material online has been filled with A LOT of different emotions and perspectives.
While the experience of online education has not always been positive, I think the most important part I have understood is that online learning is COMPLEX with many integral moving parts. Online learning goes beyond something to dread (my initial reaction), it can be fun, it can be awkward, it can offer frameworks beyond “traditional” forms of education (ex making memes to express yourself).
While I do feel like I have learned a slice of what online learning consists of, I still feel very confused about online learning/teaching and I have of questions, concerns and a bunch I still need to learn (see meme above).
*I used pictures of my friends and family mostly because I thought it was funny, but also because they were part of my online learning experience since online learning brings school more closely into the home*
