In groups of 2, you will be debating the issue: "Should students be assigned homework?"
- Get into group of two.
- Flip a coin to see who will be pro homework and who will be against homework.
- Review the rubric to see how you will be graded.
- Think about your topic and do a little bit of research. Use this livebinder if you need help.
- Write down ideas on your notecards. Include at least 3 reasons or arguments to support your position on the topic. You can be serious, humorous or both. Have some FUN with it.
- Practice your speech and debating each other.
