Hello my name is Teri Peralta,
I have been in the Restaurant business since 1993 and I really enjoy meeting new people and making sure they have a great experience with us.
I started working part time in a little Café named Cattleman’s in Lucerne Valley, Ca.
I drove a school bus full time during the week which I loved, and waitressed on the week-ends, after a year and a half I then became manager and eventually bought it.
I knew then that I had to learn every aspect of the business so I learned how to cook, which was easy for me because my grandma was an amazing cook, our salsa is her own recipe.
From then on it was all about creating new and improved menu items to better serve you.
After a few years it was time to move on so in June of 1996 Debbie Reese and I opened Cattleman’s Café II in Tehachapi, Ca.
Our business started to grow and we knew it was time to move to a bigger and better facility so in July of 2002 we moved to The Old Summit building near the Chevron in Tehachapi and named it Cattleman’s Bar & Grill.
We then hired Elena to help cook, she is here cooking for you at the Coyote.
This was a great place and we really enjoyed and loved all of our dedicated customers, but it was too much having a bar and we both worked 10 - 12 hour days every day, so we decided to sell it.
It was time to get back to the smaller Café. We had 12 great years in Tehachapi and love it.
In March of 2008 we opened Coyote Café, it’s nice to be in a small town, we have connected with our locals which has made our jobs a lot easier.
We are very grateful for our customers and blessed to have their patronage.
Living close to Edwards we see so many new faces that come and go all the time, it can be difficult at times to say good-bye, but we are happy when they get to move on to a new adventure.
Debbie too has moved on to Bullhead City Arizona opening her new facility in September 2013 it is located on Hwy 95, she has a great location, larger facility and is very happy living next to the River!
Stop by and say hi she would love to see you.
I hope you enjoy your time here with us, thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
