Etymology details
Name: Tenshion (天使音), combined from 天使 (Angel) and 音 (Sound), which means "Angel's sound". Sei (生), means "life".
Type: UTAU - MOSELOID (UTAUs from the world of Mosekai/NoVa).
Other: Iriel Nanma (イリエル ナンマ) - her original name in the novel Mosekai's lore.

Story:
Iriel was born and raised on a remote island, isolated from the outside world. Her family was bound by an ancient curse: anyone who experienced a brush with death - or death itself - would undergo a physical transformation, whether a blessing or a tragedy.
During the time when war spread across the nation, Iriel's father and younger brother joined the enemy forces in exchange for their lives being spared. Their betrayal led to the deaths of the remaining members of the family, including Iriel herself.
In death, she changed.
Her black hair became a beautiful shade of pink, the very color she had always imagined the world beyond her island to possess, and dyed with the blue of ocean's water. Her body grew taller and more mature, though such changes held little meaning, for she was no longer among the living.
Unable to let go of the joy of being alive, Iriel's spirit remained in the mortal world. She wandered aimlessly throughout Mosekai, clinging to the life she had lost, until she encountered Mangan - The Great Mage.
Seeing something within the lost soul, The Great Mage took Iriel in as his disciple, giving her a new purpose in a world she could no longer truly belong to.
