Story:

Dragurin was a creation of Mangan (also known as Shika Shiru) - The Great Mage, modeled after an aquatic creature. Because of his origins, he could barely breathe while on land. To allow him to live among others, the Great Mage bestowed upon him a sacred artifact that sustained his existence as an anthropomorphic being. However, only Mangan himself could maintain the artifact, meaning that as long as the Great Mage lived, Dragurin would be able to continue enjoying his life on shore. 

Many years passed, and Dragurin eventually grew into adulthood. But time claimed even the Great Mage. Upon Mangan's death, Dragurin was left alone, with no one capable of maintaining the artifact that kept him alive. Before long, it failed. 

With its collapse came Dragurin's end. 

Yet his death did not stop there. As a magical being, everything he had left behind in the world vanished alongside him - every trace of his existence, every creation, and every memory others held of him. Even Irumu, who had loved him with all his heart, lost all recollection of the one he cherished. 

Now, Dragurin survives only as an indistinct fragment buried deep within Irumu's mind - a forgotten memory that may never be uncovered, and a wound that will haunt him for the rest of his life.
