This Is a program designed to further raise awareness, of the "Moose Rider", activity groups, by fraternalizing with other Moose Lodges throughout our great state of Illinois.
The winner of the "Moose Rider of the Year" award,will be determined by accumulation of points, throughout the Riding Season. (Mooseheart "Blessing of the Bikes", til "The End of Ride Party").
To qualify: All Moose Riders that belong to Qualified Moose Rider Groups, in Good Standing with Illinois Moose Association.
Point accumulation will be determined by visitation of Illinois Moose Lodges. Riders will send photo of themselves with the said Moose Lodge Sign, as proof of the visit.
They will accrue: A)
- 1 point for every lodge visited, that has a Moose Riders Group
- 2 points for all other lodges
- 1 point if pic taken includes a Lodge officer (LOOM or WOTM). please include Officers name
- 1 extra point if said officer is wearing Higher Degree regalia (LOOM or WOTM)
- 1 point if pic includes a Moose Rider Officer of said lodge, please include Officers name
- 1 extra point if Moose Rider President of said Lodge's Rider group
The Moose Rider at the end of the year with the most points accrued, will win the Award
