Studies in language and education have experienced growth, development, enhancement, changes and enlightenment on theories, issues or existing problems. They in turn paved the way for explorations and adaptations of strategies and approaches using technology that would also include combining concepts, which would then lead to various newness.
USIM’s philosophy of integration in naqli and aqli knowledge shape the concept of comprehensive knowledge delivery for graduates to possess both universality and soft skills. The incorporation of aqli aspect in the Quranic and Sunnah studies, as well as the emphasis on naqli aspect in worldly studies, have become the main underpinning in curriculum development for this university.
In light of this, the forthcoming conference is viewed as a prime opportunity to foster knowledge exchange among scholars in the three primary languages, namely Arabic, English, and Malay. With the conference theme set as "Language and Education as Unifying Elements," the event organizers aspire to create an intellectually stimulating forum where experts can share their innovative practices and groundbreaking research discoveries aimed at tackling contemporary issues in education, social, economics, politics, and other pertinent issues of our time.
