In 2021, my article "Beethoven's Theme of the Slow Movement of Piano Sonata Op. 13: Phrasing, Functional Cycles, Meter and Dramaturgy" was published in Res musica journal of Estonian Academy of Music and Theater (13/2021).
Upcoming publications
Project "The Unkown Yavorsky." Publication of the new academic edition of the 1908 treatise The Design of Musical Speech (Строение музыкальной речи) by Boleslav Yavorsky, together with 100 pages of archival materials from the Russian National Museum of Music. Translation into English language. Publication in two languages on opposite pages. approximately 400 pages with schemes, figures and musical examples. Scheduled for March 2022. Kompozitor Publishing House, Moscow. Will be available in electronic format (clickable Pdf), paperback and hard cover from Google Books.
“Extension and Directionality: a Sketch for Musical Topology.” In The Proceedings of the International Music Theory Conference Music and Spatiality, Belgrade: SANA, Serbian Academy of Arts. Scheduled for the Spring 2022. My keynote speech at the conference with the same name.
