Students are put into 4 teams by color: red, yellow, blue and green. Various types of competition are scored with one team achieving victory by getting the highest score. There are many kinds of races, challenges and performances that students do to compte for ultimate supremacy. This event is usually held in June. Parents and former students often come to watch the festivities.

This is a two day event in September where students do various kinds of cultural activities. Students sing, dance, perform plays, give speeches, decorate their classrooms and cook various kinds of food for family and community members. It's one of the most lively events of the year. On the final day, students have a special event after all the guests have left. Rock bands perform as well as dance club. Students let off steam while cheering and building up comraderie. To top it off, there is a fireworks display in the middle of the quad. This is one of the highlights of school life at Ikuno.
