Competency Certification at TVETMARA Bintulu

TVETMARA Bintulu offers competency certification programmes designed to develop skilled, competent and industry-ready workers. The programmes combine technical knowledge, practical training, workplace safety and hands-on assessment based on actual industry requirements.

Participants are assessed on their ability to perform specific tasks safely, correctly and according to established procedures. Successful participants receive a competency certificate that recognises their skills in the relevant occupational field.

Competency programmes include Mechanical Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Tank Fitter, Fire Watcher, Basic Rigging and Slinging, Overhead Crane Operation and Inspection, Protective Coating, Field Instrumentation and Calibration, Welding, Scaffolding and Working at Height.

Selected programmes are conducted in collaboration with industry partners, professional bodies and recognised certification providers. Training can also be customised to meet the operational and workforce development needs of individual companies.

These programmes benefit school leavers, jobseekers, existing workers and industry personnel who wish to acquire new competencies or upgrade their current skills. Through competency certification, TVETMARA Bintulu helps improve workforce quality, employability and workplace safety.
