Introduced by the current Headmaster Sen’ei Ikenobo in 1977 to adapt to the changing society in Japan by modernizing the Shoka arrangement. The maximum number of materials that can be used in this style of arrangement is also three. The two major elements are the Shu and Yo, with additional help from what we call the Ashirai. There are no measurement requirements in this style.
There must be a distinct Mizugiwa present in Shoka Shimputai.
