Turn on your Canon printer and ensure it is in a ready state.
Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network or use a USB cable for a wired connection.
Open your preferred web browser and visit ij.start.canon.
Enter your Canon printer model number in the search field and select the correct model from the results.
Download the latest Canon printer driver and setup software for Windows 10.
After the download is complete, open the installation file and click Run.
Accept the license agreement and continue with the installation process.
Select your preferred connection type:
Wireless Connection to print over Wi-Fi.
USB Connection for a direct wired setup.
Follow the on-screen instructions until the setup wizard detects your Canon printer.
Complete the installation by clicking Finish.
Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners on your Windows 10 PC and confirm that your Canon printer appears in the list.
Print a test page to verify that the printer is installed correctly and ready for use.
