time / date :
[ millennium ] : [ year ] - [ month ] - [ day ]
millenniums can go up to infinity
years go to max 999 on the timer , then instead of showing 1000 -> they add a +1 to the millennium counter
months go to max 99 on the timer , then instead of showing 100 -> they add a +1 to the year counter
days go to max 9 on the timer , then instead of showing 10 -> they add a +1 to the month counter
example :
23 : 999 | 99 | 9
the world has the 24 hour time format
there is no week concept since a month is already about the length of that . there is no set concept of weekend and weekday either . work and education has specified schedules
there are no seasons , but weather patterns usually last for 10 - 20 months and have a 5 day transition period where its [ weather ] one day , then not the next day , then again for 2 days , then pause for one day and then constantly [ weather ]
naming convention :
people have an id number ( registration date : registration number ) instead of an official name , and they usually shorten it to their randomly assigned registration number ( 000 - 999 ) unless there are multiple with the same one -> then they add the month and day
example : 592 : 024 , 592 : 036
since im currently interested in learning chinese , i mostly use that as inspiration for the names , which is very obvious when ya read ' ling ' in one of the names . it s not accurate in any way since i m just looking at the sylabils and taking whichever i find neat ->
it wouldn t be a story i wrote if there wasn t a canon non reproduction way of existing
people form from soul orbs in ' designated ' space due to the environmental conditions .
sometimes they get overlooked and end up somewhat of an outsider due to getting basic information after already having existed for a bit . but they usually survive since that area is made tobe safe
some stray ones show up randomly outside the safe areas tho . they usually don t survive that long due to things like rain being already enough to melt them fatally . the soul orb then usually seeps into the ground and becomes a plant . even possible on concrete . people then usually cut out the whole concrete block or wood plate or literally anything and move it to the cemetery
there are 3 stages :
basic care : the time of where the orb gets a form , to until they have all the very basic information absorbed ( they re basically secluded in a room for ( usually ) 10 days until they wake up and can speak and do basic math and whatnot
education : that s where they learn manners and cooperation and culture and other things that aren t ' default knowledge ' ( sometimes it happens that someone gets the wrong default language and has to either move to the place where that language is from , or take prerequisite classes to learn the local language too ) there s always a test to check what knowledge one has and what not . every 10 or so years , they update the default knowledge pool and education knowledge pool to adjust to any noticeable changes . basic s about 10 years and then 5 for specialized things , either consecutively or at the same time .
the schedule is usually : month s start : 20 to 60 education , 60 - 70 break , 70 - 90 education , 90 - 20 break
weekly schedule almost always with very few exceptions : day s : 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 : education 5 , 6 : pause , 7 : summary of the weeks content , 8 , 9 : pause
free roam : people can get jobs n shit . they don t really need money to live since default nutrition comes free with housing . live expectancy is something between 30 to 100 years . once someone hits 100 , they go through a reset phase of 10 days like when their body forms , that s usually when most die due to suddenly passing out on the street and hitting their head . people are usually advised to
