Welcome to the Professional Development & Innovation Awards Program 2022!!!
Like previous years, the program was launched by inviting applications from B. Tech/B. Arch final year students engaged in their project work. Go to Main Page for the goals. sponsors and full history of the program.
Program was kicked off with the publication of detailed Execution Guidelines for 2022.
Mentor-Mentee matching was completed and communicated to mentees, mentors and Guides as of Jan 31. 2022.
As jointly recommended by IITR and alumni, the proposal to extend the program to Masters/Postgraduate students has been approved effective 2023 by amending the existing MOU.
Efforts have been made to involve DORA Advisory Committee and TIDES to make the program more impactful for IITR innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
MENTOR - MENTEE MATCHING 2022
Open Competition for Innovation Awards to be held on June 18, 2022!!!
Guidelines for participants:
As part of open competition, each IITR students team will present its work to the jury to win the three Innovation awards (Top Innovation, Best Woman Innovator, and Judges' Choice). Details of the awards are on the Main Page
Awards will be given on the basis of evaluation of each team's presentation by jury consisting of IITR faculty members and alumni.
Following five criteria (equal weightage) will be used for evaluating the presentations:
Market potential of innovation
Originality of the product or service proposed
Potential social, environmental, or sustainability impact
Extent of additional effort needed to fully develop product or service
Level of impact made by the presentation (including supporting data, references, demo, user feedback etc.)
Each team will be allowed 5 minutes for presenting its work followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. Time limits will be strictly followed.
Presentation needs to be submitted by June 11 to be considered for award. It needs to be accompanied by letters of support from your Guide and Mentor.
