Space Lab

The IITM Space Lab, inaugurated in 2016 specifically for Project IITMSAT, serves as the central hub for the complete lifecycle of IITMSAT, encompassing development, testing, and assembly. Equipped with essential amenities such as a Surface Mount Device (SMD) soldering station, a state-of-the-art cleanroom, and an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) grounded facility, our laboratory ensures meticulous attention to detail and adherence to stringent quality standards. Additionally, our premises include a dedicated conference room where team gatherings convene regularly for productive discussions and collaborative decision-making.
