You can use this platform to create posts and start discussions related to the content of this course. Use this forum to seek clarifications, share experiences and learn from other participants.
Google Groups are used for facilitating discussions in the course. Scroll down for some important How-Tos:
A) Instructions for Creating a new Post in the Discussion Forum
Follow the following steps to post in the discussion forum:
Click on New Topic
On the Subject line, write the question heading, eg: How to do chunking
On Type of post, select Start a Discussion.
In the Text Box, write down the question.
Click on Post to share your post with other learners
The figure below highlights the steps 2 through 5.
B) Instructions for Peer Interaction in the Discussion Forum
In the discussion forum, look for a post that you want to comment on. Click on the post.
Read the posted question/comment
Click on Reply/Post Reply to add your comment to the post.
A text box will open to write your comment.
Click on Post to make your comment available to others.
C) Subscribing to Discussion Forum
To get periodic email updates, subscribing to the Discussion Forum is essential. Please follow the steps below to Subscribe.
Click on “Membership and Email settings”
2. Edit your email delivery preference - select notify me for every new message (fewer than 1 per day) and click on SAVE
This forum will be used for debating ideas, crowd-sourcing resources and answering queries. The Instructors and TAs will answer queries on a daily basis till July 31, 2020, and twice a week thereafter.
