Ravi is teaching CM507: Numerical Methods for Climate Science in the January-April semester.
Our group is part of the Centre for Climate Studies at IIT Bombay.
We study fluid dynamical phenomena in the atmosphere and the ocean, focussing on small length and time scales which can be studied using high-resolution numerical simulations. These length and time scales are, and will probably remain, unresolved in global climate models. High resolution studies are thus essential in order to understand, and better parameterise, the dynamics on these scales.
