The IISA research group has adopted an inter-disciplinary research approach. The group focuses primarily on state-of-the-art research activities and knowledge enrichment, with strong emphasis on information systems aspects, intelligent data processing, decision support systems, business intelligence, enterprise resource planning, smart applications for CRM, and intelligent systems in industrial applications. The group will continue to attract other faculty members and experts from within the University of Sharjah and from outside with interest to collaborate on relevant research areas of the IISA research group.
