The IISA research group will provide professional services in line with the national and international expertise of its members and the identified target audience.

The IISA research group target audience:

Government institutions such as different UAE Ministries and the national Health Institutions in the Emirates.

National and private institutions engaged in activities related to: information technology, business management, decision support systems, data management, business intelligence, and risk management.

The IISA research group will provide a variety of professional services, such as:

• Conducting professional training courses designed to support practicing information systems designers, engineers and professionals.

• Providing specialized consulting services to the community.

• Offering short courses on smart systems, big data analysis, intelligent decision support systems, and object oriented database.

• Supporting related government agencies and organizations in Sharjah and other Emirates on related projects.

• Participating actively in professional societies.

• Organizing conferences and workshops on intelligent systems, big data analysis, and information management.

• Offering seminars, distinguished lectures, workshops, and conferences.

• Producing design guidelines, manuals, policies and regulation along other support material as required by the IISA research group target audience.

• Transferring technological advances to the scientific and engineering communities.

• Publishing a periodical summarizing new developments and technologies in the area of intelligent information systems.
