This is a content mod for The Binding of Isaac. It adds an entirely new mechanic into the game, inspired by the Ghost in Spelunky.
It was made in a team of 3 (including me), I did all the designing, producing, and some of the pixel art. However, it was most definitely a team effort and I'm very grateful to the other 2 team members for helping make this mod come to life.
I recommend watching the trailer to see Salem in action, but here's a summary. Essentially, she's an unkillable enemy that spawns when the player spends too long on a floor. Unlike every other enemy though, she is capable of following you from room to room and if she touches you, in most situations, you'll be dead before reaching the next floor where the timer resets. It's also got some other Tboi-ish gimmicks, like turning you into a ghost or downgrading your items into trinkets. These are to make up for the "Splitting" mechanic that the Ghost in Spelunky has, where it becomes 2 and then 4 smaller ghosts.
