News & Events
[July 2023]: One paper, in which we proposed a comparative study of passivity, model predictive, and passivity-based model predictive controllers in uninterruptible power supply applications, has been accepted by Energies.
[June 2023]: One paper has been accepted for presentation at the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), where we introduced an online learning-based control strategy (named GP-MPPI) that integrates the MPPI algorithm with a local perception model based on Sparse Gaussian Process (SGP).
[January 2023]: Clearpath Robotics has selected our work on collision-free navigation in cluttered environments as one of the Top 5 Stories of 2022.
[December 2022]: We released the source code of our article "Autonomous Navigation of AGVs in Unknown Cluttered Environments: log-MPPI Control Strategy". The repository contains the ROS implementation of the Model Predictive Path Integral (MPPI) and log-MPPI control strategy.
[July & September 2022]: Two papers have been accepted in IEEE Access, introducing end-to-end (E2E) learning-based control policies proposed for directly controlling the Grid-Tied 3L-NPC Transformerless Inverter and the Three-phase Flying Capacitor Multi-Level Inverter.
[July 2022]: One article has been accepted by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L), wherein we proposed an extension to the classical MPPI algorithm (called, log-MPPI), where the control input updates are sampled from a normal log-normal (NLN) mixture distribution instead of a Gaussian distribution.
[November 2021]: One paper has been accepted for presentation at the IEEE Workshop on the Electronic Grid (eGRID), where we proposed an artificial neural network-based voltage control system for DC/DC converters aimed at DC microgrid applications.
[June 2021]: One paper has been accepted for presentation at the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), where we introduced a real-time sampling-based MPC approach for visual serving techniques.
[March 2021]: PhD Fellow at Indiana University Bloomington, Vehicle Autonomy and Intelligence Lab (VAIL), USA
[October 2020]: Finalist for Pierre Laffitte Prize, Université Côte d’Azur, France.
