Tips for listening at home
1. Listen to examples of spoken English with and without headphones. With headphones for exam practice and without headphones for classroom practice.
2. Listen to a variety of news channels or TV shows/movies for a range of accents.
3. Watch a movie without subtitles for around 3-5 minutes while writing down what you hear (this helps grammar/writing too), then play it back and check with the subtitles on the movie.
