Mission: The mission of the Ignite! Online Academy Counseling Department is to provide comprehensive school counseling services to all students in a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment. The counseling program is designed to equip each student with the academic, social-emotional and career-readiness growth needed to develop their strengths, discover their passions, deepen their resiliency and ultimately thrive in their post-graduation paths. The counselor will work with all stakeholders to effectively identify needs and implement evidenced-based solutions that prioritize increasing academic achievement, advocating for equitable school practices, promoting positive mental health and building a community where all students feel safe and valued.
