Tips for English first language

• Time management is key, don't dwell on trying to write as much as possible on the first few questions.

• Make sure you have time for the directed writing as it counts for the most points.

• Really utilise the Thesaurus to look for synonyms, it helps when writing the writer's effect and course works.

• For long answer writing questions, make sure you use interesting syntaxes and vary them to make your writing more interesting. This is especially useful in Paper 2 and your English Literature coursework.
