HELEN R. GRAHAM LIBRARY
The Institute of Formation and Religious Studies library is named after a distinguished IFRS mentor since 1967 - Sr. Helen R. Graham, MM. The IFRS Library is located on the 2nd floor of IFRS N. Domingo building. Since the library is the heart of every school/institution – the IFRS library offers vital services to enhance the educational ministry of the Institute. It provides adequate, well selected, and relevant library collection to meet the needs of the students, researchers, faculty administrators, and other clientele. The IFRS library as a learning resource center is designed for the use of everyone. Hence, it operates within a framework of regulations designed to facilitate the maximum use of the library.
The library has the following service hours:
On school days
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Saturday 8:00 AM-12:00 NN
Closed on Holidays

Mission
The IFRS Library participates effectively in the IFRS academic programs as it strives to serve the needs of students, faculty, and community members of the Institute. It provides the researchers with the library materials and services most appropriate and most meaningful in their work. It stimulates and guides the researchers in all phases of their reading so that they find increasing enjoyment and satisfaction and may grow in critical judgment and appreciation. It works with the faculty in the selection and use of all types of library materials.
Vision
The IFRS Library serves users through the collection and maintenance of large and varied resources and information toward the development and utilization of library information technologies. The Library responds to the needs of the researchers and the demands of the individuals both inside and outside the institution.
Goals and Objectives
The IFRS Library plays a unique and essential role in the educational and research program of the Institute. Library collections are updated to respond to the actual and anticipated demands of users of said collections.
1. To acquire, provide, and preserve library materials and research resources for the benefit of
students, faculty, researchers, and prospective library users in their professional growth and development.
2. To consistently strive to discover new methods and improvements for better service to library users.
3. To provide materials needed to support the degree programs of the school.
4. To provide materials for in-depth study of topics which are of particular interest to students and faculty.
5. To provide the expertise and training necessary in fully utilizing the resources available to all its users.
