It is a website developed by the Government of Tamil Nadu, is an integrated management system that provides a common platform for financial and human resource transactions. The Division of Accounts has been entrusted with the responsibility to implement it in all Government organizations.

It is a web-based system designed to provide transparency overall government organizations' financial and human resource transactions. It offers a unique set of tools to manage financial and human resource activities, including Budget, Pay Accounts, Pay Orders, Deputations, Salaries, Leave Allowances, Leaves Certificates, Medical Certificates, etc.

IFHRMS provides an effective mechanism to disseminate information regarding organizational performance through Strategic Reports. Strategic Reports are meant to provide information regarding the overall performance of organizations or certain departments against specific targets.

End-users prepare the reports based on information obtained from several different sources. The statements are made available to the users both in print and in electronic formats. In addition, the information contained in these reports can be viewed by authorized users who have access to the system.

Archived Reports are meant to store reports generated and transferred from other systems and provide continuity of data. In addition, these reports can be retrieved and viewed at any time and used as a reference base for future period planning of organizations/departments.

IFHRMS provides a set of tools that help the user to enter, edit and transfer information. The system is designed to do no two transactions with the same record number, and each transaction is uniquely identified through its number.
