Our focus point is how mental issues and addiction affect the homeless community in Waco.

The reason why homelessness is an issue is that homeless people don't have the money or support to have a house or any property. The main issue of homelessness is that people are unable to get to job interviews and other events because they don't have transportation. Most of the time, employers don't even give them a chance. There are many reasons why people become homeless, but the main issue we decided to focus on is how mental issues and addiction causes homelessness. We decided on this because we think that mental issues and addiction are very serious and important topics. We wanted to do something about it, so we decided to make love backpacks!
