HACKATHON WINNERS
We are thrilled to announce that three students from our institution - Soham Chakraborty, Kaustav Giri and Pritha Saha, have won in the third season of TecHacks in the Polygon track. It was a really gratifying moment for the institution.
Chitkara University in Chandigarh organised North India's Biggest Student-Run Hackathon TecHacks 3.0 from 6th January, 2023 to 7th January, 2023. It was a 24 hours hackathon organised by Devfolio and Polygon, alongside sponsors like Solana, Spheron, Filecoin & IPFS, Replit and FOSS United. It was a fantastic setting for showcasing your talents and growing technically, and collaborating with people to create real-time solutions!
They participated under the team name KoffeewithKoders and won the Polygon track. Polygon is a relatively popular crypto that regularly ranks among the top 15 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. It provides a blockchain platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Polygon allows developers and enterprises to build Web3 experiences.
The team is congratulated on their accomplishment by the Department of IT and every other professor at our university. We expect to see many more outstanding achievements from our students in the future.

Won Three Hackathons in a Row
We are thrilled to announce that three students from our institution - Soham Chakraborty, Kaustav Giri and Pritha Saha attended Hack This Fall 3.0, held at Karnavati University, Gandhinagar. They won the Appwrite track and made it three in a row in their journey of Hackathons.
It was a 36 hours In-person hackathon which gave them opportunity to network with some really amazing people and build a major project to 'Innovate for Good'.
It was their second ever offline hackathon. From learning about Appwite Storage, Zeeve, 5ireChain, Storyblok, ApyHub and Postman to implementing them in their projects, it has been very prolific for them, encouraging other students to compete in such competitions.
