Should I bring my own poster for the poster session?
Yes, all students are encouraged to bring their own posters to participate the poster sessions on 6/10, 6/12, and 6/13. There will be no poster printing service at the venue, so you need to print and bring the posters with you to Taiwan. The ideal size of the poster is A0 (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm or 33.1 inches x 46.8 inches) with portrait configuration. The largest size that can be put on the poster stand is 90 cm x 120 cm. Pins or tapes will be provided on-site for you to put on your posters.
How much money should I bring with me?
Although accommodation and basic meals will be covered by the school, you might need to prepare some extra money for local transportation and additional expenses (drinks, food at night market, and purchasing during sightseeing...etc). It is recommended to prepare $100 to $200 USD with you during the visit. You will need to bring more if you plan to stay longer or to buy souvenirs for your visit.
