Pathway Development Resources

• Pathway Development Toolkit: This set of resources was created by the BACCC (Sarah Watanabe & Mallory Stevens) to align the 12 Elements (K12) and  Guided Pathways (CC) frameworks to allow for stronger, more equity focused Career and Technical Education pathways.  

• Career Pathways Mapping Toolkit (Career Ladders Project) Career pathways maps clarify and align programs and services; they link increasing levels of certification, education, and employment; and they support students in choosing among the opportunities that interest them. Understanding this important process is critical in creating strong dual enrollment programs.

• Career Technical Education Foundation  (Sonoma County)

• San Diego County Office of Ed Essential Skills resources:  Essential skills poster, rubrics, & implementation tools created through a partnership between SDCOE & San Diego Workforce Partnership. 

• Internships: Early College Credit Capstone Internship Program Handbook (Santa Rosa Jr. College) Provides details of a high school internship as part of a capstone course.

• TIDE Academy Pathways and Course Sequences:  Provides clear examples of program maps and CTE Pathways with dual enrollment courses integrated. 

• Say Hello to Your Future brochure: College of Marin Pathway Maps that feature sequences of dual enrollment courses for high school students and the programs that they lead to. 

• OC Pathways Grids: Orange county has developed academic plans and pathway sequences by industry sector for 8th grade through high school.
