活動簡介 Event Introduction

隨著全球動物福利意識持續提升，海洋哺乳類動物的展示、互動與利用方式正面臨新的挑戰與轉型契機。海洋哺乳類動物福利、展演規範及管理模式的討論已成為國際社會高度關注之議題，也促使各界重新思考人與海洋哺乳類動物互動的未來方向。

第四屆展演動物福利國際研討會聚焦全球利用趨勢、動物福利評估、展演管理及空間規劃等重要議題，探討如何透過科學證據與專業實務，建立更符合動物福利理念的管理模式，透過跨領域交流與對話引介國際最新趨勢，凝聚產業轉型與政策發展共識。

我們誠摯邀請學術研究人員、從業人員、教育推廣工作者及關心動物福利的社會大眾共同參與，一起思考海洋哺乳類動物福利的未來。

 As global awareness of animal welfare continues to grow, the exhibition, interaction, and use of marine mammals are facing new challenges and opportunities for transformation. Discussions surrounding marine mammal welfare, exhibition practices, and management approaches have become issues of increasing international concern, prompting stakeholders to reconsider the future of human–marine mammal interactions.

4th International Exhibited Animal Welfare Conference will focus on key topics including global trends in marine mammal use, animal welfare assessment, exhibition management, and habitat design. Through scientific evidence and professional practice, the conference aims to explore management approaches that better align with animal welfare principles, while fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and introducing the latest international developments to support industry transformation and policy advancement.

We sincerely invite researchers, animal care professionals, educators, and members of the public who are interested in animal welfare to join us in exploring the future of marine mammal welfare together.
