Welcome to the IEAWC 2025 Conference website!
The conference will be held from November 3rd to 4th, 2025, at the Taipei Zoo, Taipei. We sincerely invite you to join the 2025 International Exhibited Animal Welfare Conference, and we look forward to your participation in this important animal welfare event!

活動簡介 Event Introduction

隨著社會對動物福利意識的提升，在動物展演場所中與遊客互動的展演活動逐漸成為公眾與專業界關注的焦點。本研討會《展演的邊界》旨在深入探討動物互動與表演如何在教育意義、娛樂價值與動物福利之間取得平衡。

本次會議將聚焦於現場表演、遊客餵食、互動展示等活動對動物身心狀況的影響，並探討科學化管理、行為豐富化設計與教育目標的整合實踐。我們期望透過跨領域的實證研究與實務經驗交流，建立出兼顧動物福祉與遊客體驗的互動展演新典範。

本會議誠摯邀請動物行為學者、從業人員、政策制定者與教育推廣者共同參與，攜手推動更具倫理與創新精神的動物展演未來。

As public awareness of animal welfare continues to grow, interactive animal exhibitions and performances in zoos and aquariums are drawing increasing attention from both the public and professionals.

This year’s conference, Redefining the Boundaries of Animal Exhibitions, explores how animal interactions and shows can responsibly balance educational goals, visitor engagement, and animal welfare.

Focusing on live presentations, public feedings (including petting-zoo–style areas), and interactive encounters, the program will examine their behavioral and physiological impacts on animals and highlight evidence-based approaches that integrate science-based management, behavioral enrichment, and educational design.

Through interdisciplinary research and practice-focused discussion, the conference seeks to establish a new paradigm for interactive exhibitions that is both ethically grounded and engaging for visitors.
