“The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road” – A Magical Success!
In May 2025, our talented musical theatre students took to the stage to perform their very own production of The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road.

Over the course of four months, students dedicated themselves to learning choreography, memorising scripted lines, and— for some—performing their own vocal solos. They rehearsed tirelessly on weekends and even committed extra time independently to perfect their performances.

Students performed Three OUTSTANDING shows, each performed to an audience of over 150 people!
It was a truly magical experience and a testament to the hard work, talent, and dedication of our incredible cast.

Our next show will be announced soon but will take place 2nd and 3rd May 2026.

“Shrek The Musical” – A True Fairytale Come to Life!
With a cast of over 40 talented students, Shrek The Musical was brought to life on stage in a spectacular, fun-filled production where magic truly happened.

Our students performed a range of well-known songs, embraced their characters with energy and enthusiasm, and delivered 4 OUTSTANDING shows that was nothing short of a fairytale. From ogres to donkeys, dragons to princesses, every performer shone brightly, making it an unforgettable experience for all who attended.

We even had an extra special guest from the Child Officer inspection team from Shropshire Council who inspected Opal and the school and graded us OUTSTANDING.

“The Greatest Show” – The One That Started It All
The Greatest Show will always hold a special place in our hearts as the very first full-scale musical production from Identity.

Our students delivered four incredible performances over one unforgettable weekend—and let’s just say, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. From standing ovations to moments of real-life magic, the energy, passion, and talent on stage were truly electric.

This show didn’t just entertain—it CAME ALIVE.
