I have always questioned my place and direction in life. Before and during the pandemic, I have found myself at night staring at the ceiling trying to make sense of these things. As there's no making sense of the world we live in as a total, I have begun to break down different parts of my life to think about. I started reflecting on myself as an individual and how my experiences shaped who I am. I processed this through my drawings during my gap year before college and can now see how my definition of self has changed through that. Having a better understanding of my corner of existance, I wanted to explore the space behind me: to understand perspectives and processes outside my own. The collective experiences we have, along with understanding design, help determine not the direction of what could be, but the direction of what it should be.
