Prophecy of Shadows is the first installment in my planned series, The Ethalian Verse. The story follows Nyra Blackwood, a twenty-four-year-old warrior who discovers she may be the subject of a long-lost prophecy: a silver-haired, green-eyed warrior destined to awaken the dragons and riders of old—and restore the lost city of Drakharis. But to save Ethalia from an encroaching Shadow that threatens to consume the world, Nyra must embrace a rare and formidable magic—and a fate that could unravel her from within.

Fans of Sarah J. Maas, Rebecca Yarros, Leigh Bardugo, or J.R.R. Tolkien will find something to love here. Prophecy of Shadows is an epic fantasy with a slow-burn romance, exploring free will, the resilience of women, class divisions, and the consequences of a corrupt government that leaves its people hungry and in desperate need for true leadership.
