A robot trying to solve a maze. A glimpse from the teaching material on Reinforcement learning. Above the robot is learning about the environment (exploration strategy). Below the robot has learned sufficiently about the environment to solve the maze (exploitation strategy).
Any student (BS-MS, PhD, or other) whose ideas resonate with the above-mentioned points, would be a suitable match for our team. Masters students who want to pursue a thesis with us, are encouraged to approach well in advance (six months is preferable) to ensure a quality thesis.
