When you have completed your video project and are ready to share the finished video, complete the following steps to export and create private links to your work. Please note that the link is not public, only the people who have been sent the link will have access (e.g. your professor), and they will need to log in with their Humber credentials to access it:
Click on the Export button in the top right hand corner of the Clipchamp window.
2. Adjust the quality settings as needed. Note that choosing 4K will result in very large file sizes. Most video projects will work well using the default settings.
Click on Export.
3. A progress bar will appear telling you how much time is left on the export. Note that a 5-minute video may take 3-4 minutes to export.
4. Once the video has finished exporting, it will begin uploading to your OneDrive storage folder.
5. Your video is ready to share but before you go to the sharing settings, we recommend downloading a copy of the exported video to your computer. To do this, click on Save to your computer.
6. Click on Share with people at Humber Polytechnic.
7. Click on the settings wheel next to the Copy Link button.
8. Choose the option that allows the link to work for People in Humber Polytechnic. Under More Settings select the Can view option. Then click on Apply.
9. Click on Copy link.
10. Your link will be copied and ready to paste into a document or assignment submission are on Blackboard. You can do this using Ctrl+V on a Windows computer or Cmd+V on a Mac. Alternatively, right-click and choose the paste option.
