Where Sound Becomes Sacred

This map marks the pulse of our community—the living spaces where IDCYDE gathers each week to become music. Some call it the Venice Drum Circle. We call it church. Every Saturday and Sunday, we meet under open skies and beside the ocean, on the sand where the Pacific breathes with us. Barefoot. Connected. Unscripted. This isn’t a performance—it’s a practice. This is our altar. This is where rhythm becomes prayer. We believe that sacredness thrives outside. We gather where walls do not contain us—where the wind, the tide, and the collective heartbeat of the earth join our sound. Nature is not our backdrop—it’s our choir. Our gatherings begin and end with the world around us: shifting light, ocean mist, the call of the horizon. We also meet at 1411 S Flower, our outdoor rooftop sanctuary. Suspended above the city, we gather beneath open sky, letting the skyline listen in. It’s still outside. Still sacred. Still alive with rhythm, memory, and the mystery of becoming. These are more than meeting spots. They are sacred coordinates in the evolving map of who we are.
