United Colleges Group (UCG) are delighted to announce a new staff recruitment campaign this summer as we look to expand our team of exceptional educators.
With the launch of www.ucgjobs.com we have created the perfect platform to browse vacancies, learn all about UCG… and find out if we fit your plans for the future!
At UCG, we work with students, the community, government, employers and partners to support thousands of people to reach their goals, whether that be starting a career, progressing onto further or higher education or developing their skills.
Made up of two legacy colleges — City of Westminster College (CWC) and College of North West London (CNWL) — we are one of the largest Colleges in London with nearly 4,000 young learners and 12,000 adults that study a broad range of subjects and qualifications.
Of those younger learners, 72% are from an ethnically diverse background and it is that difference that we celebrate every day.
With lecturer vacancies ranging from positions in Performing Arts at Paddington… to teaching Green skills in Construction and Engineering at Willesden, we have roles ready for the right people to join us.
As well as providing an invaluable educational and professional experience, working at UCG offers staff an exceptional career pathway, with wellbeing and happiness always at the heart of everything we do.
But don’t just take our word for it… here’s what our team say…
"I've been given the support and opportunity to move through several jobs within the Estates team since working at UCG that have expanded my skills and responsibilities. I am proud to be a member of the Group's College Leadership Team." - Floyd Milligan, Head of Estates
"One of the best teams you can work with. They are exceptionally student-focused, always going the extra mile for our learners in order for them to improve, achieve, and excel." - Kaelanne Alfred, Head of Faculty
"I have grown up at the College of North West London and been given some great opportunities to develop and grow as manager and a safeguarding professional, but most importantly, a youth work professional with young people at the heart of all I do." - Diana Brown, Head of Student Support Services
Stephen Davis, CEO and Principal of United Colleges Group, said: “Education is at the centre of everything we do and we pride ourselves in our commitment to delivering this.
“Equality and inclusivity is at the heart of UCG and we recognise and acknowledge the challenges that face many of our learners in today’s post pandemic age.
“That is why, through our recruitment process, we welcome applications from their communities as we want to be a college where our staff can be an aspirational partner for our students.
“If you want to make that difference, we want to hear from you.”
