At the United Colleges Group, we work with students, the community, government, employers and partners to support thousands of people to reach their goals, whether that be starting a career, progressing onto further or higher education or developing their skills. Education is at the centre of everything we do and we pride ourselves in our commitment to delivering this.
City of Westminster College (CWC) is part of the United Colleges Group, one of the largest providers of post 16 education and training in Greater London. We are a multi-site institution with a strong community presence which offers open and inclusive access to all our students. We are proactive in the economic, social and business life of the communities we serve.
With five sites spread across Westminster, Camden and Brent, United Colleges Group is well placed to help improve the life chances of every person who walks through our doors and joins us.
Our aim is to try and help our students, whether younger or older, achieve their ambition. That ambition may well be to progress to university or move into a well-paid job or start a new career path.
We are committed to providing outstanding world class education and skills. Our work towards delivering this mission for London and Londoners is underpinned by our 6 values: Student-focused, Transparent, Ambitious, Inclusive, Respectful, and Supportive.
All of our attention will be on meeting the needs of our current and future students and we will listen to them to ensure we best understand those needs.
We will be open and honest with all students and staff, deliver on what we promise and communicate effectively.
We will promote high aspirations for all of our students, create a high performance and innovative culture and welcome change where it benefits the needs of our students.
We will be open and accessible to everyone who needs us, whatever their background, promote the highest standards of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and challenge intolerance and inequity wherever we see it.
Everyone in our learning community will treat each other with respect and fairness, and actively listen and respond to issues raised by members of that learning community.
We will support each other within our learning communities to be the best we can be, and help each other when we face challenges and difficulties.
Together these values form the STAIRS that help us to support every one in our learning community to reach their aspirations.
