X Icon Changer is a super useful app that you can use to change up your apps' icons with unique designs. If you want to give your smartphone a new and totally customized look, this is the app for you. With it, you can swap out one icon for another, including those you design yourself.

The advantage of using this app is that you can select any image from your gallery as an icon for a given app. Put a photo of your pet as the icon for your favorite game or make a special image to help you find a certain app in an instant. With X Icon Changer, you can let your imagination run wild.

Besides custom icons, you can also use this app to change the app's name to whatever you want. X Icon Changer even includes an icon exchange option where you can use one app's icon as another's with nothing more than a tap.

Every time you download a new app, X Icon Changer will notify you in case you want to change its icon immediately. Finally, you can choose the appropriate crop for whatever image you select in order to get the perfect look. After that, the icon will appear in most places, although the real one will still be shown in your smartphone's complete list of apps.

I'm trying to make my phone aesthetic by creating custom icons, you get the point. Its been working fantastically... until it didnt. I click on "add shortcut to desktop" and the app just freezes then kicks me off... I've waited a few hours to help it reset and maybe work, but that didnt do anything... I'm afraid if I uninstall and re-install I'll lose all my app shortcuts... What do I do? Anyone got any tips?

Recently I got a tablet, and to make it 'visually aesthetic (?)" I was searching for icon changers (like x icon changer) and in the app store it said something like they could share some kind of info to 3rd party members. I couldn't find any information about that, so i was worried about what info they could share and if those apps are safe enough to download and use (my tablet is for uni projects and classes, and it contains some personal info). Does someone know anything about this? Thanks in advance!

Drive Icon Changer helps you customize your hard drive icon shown in My Computer and Windows Explorer to an icon of your personal choice. Like Turn Off LCD, I developed this little tool in C# using Visual Studio 2008 to change drive icons on the fly. It just takes a couple of clicks to customize the icon to your personal choice.

Of course you can change the icons manually too by creating an *.inf yourself and then adding those lines etc. but with this application, you can change the icon and then can restore back to the original all with just a couple of clicks.

UPDATE: Due to popular demand we received about the icons, we decided to bundled them all and have released them in a package.

You can Download Drive Icon Pack for Drive Icon Changer here.

I would love to be able to change that flag to a different icon so it does not overlap our custom map. A simple crosshair or anything. Not one icon will work for everyone so being able to control that in your Survey 123 Connect and then push out to your survey would be fantastic.

Hey peeps, how's everyone doing? I'm searching for an app that I can use to change my home screen icons, but one that, after I've finished using, I can uninstall and the changed icons will remain. I've tried many but no one kept the icons upon uninstall. Does anyone knows an app I can use?

To be clear, I am not against change in any form. I could be happy to welcome a new and improved set of icons for SketchUp Pro. But to receive my support, the essence of the change would need to be a clear step forward in functionality, a change that shows deep understanding and consideration for the needs of the 8 hour a day Professional user, with a design objective to optimize efficiency and clarity.

I am having trouble figuring out how to change the colors of the magnifying glass and the hamburger menu icon in the header. They are currently gray, which will look awful on top of a green header. The white icons will also match the new header logo.

However, perhaps as we are now on one of the latest releases, now the home, search, and menu icons are greyed out. Can you explain how to make these icons white with opacity of 1? Did any of the selectors change?

Yes, these selectors are a little more specific now and we removed the opacity entirely in favor of using a solid color (there was a bug in Safari where SVG icons were clipped slightly because of the opacity).

I have a similar problem as the OP, probably somewhat simpler: For some reason the colour of the header icons got darker for no apparent reason (I assume it was related to the tidy-up measures on your side). Since my header is a darkish, I want the icons brighter.

I too cannot change colors of hamburger/bar menu, search/find icon did change - have tired all aforementioned tips & more by inspecting stuff in web browser but (not being a webdev) I failed. Anybody has that figured out?

Further, a GIF animation plays when you open an app, making your phone more attention-grabbing All icons provided in the app are free, so there's no need to pay hefty fees. X Icon Changer - Change Icons is compatible with Android 4.1 and newer.

As said by @william2 - thats the solution. His additional dialog about downloading and storing icons from the internet to a local storage has many advantages. For example, if the internet is down or unavailable, your icon will still display. Storing local can improve performance some depending on icon size and complexity. The hubitat hub has a rudimentary 'File Manager' found in the Settings page where you can upload icons and other files. I personally find it too rudimentary and use a my BlueIris security camera server to also host a web folder that reflects all my icons that I just drag and drop into that shared folder using my windows machines. Dashboard tiles are not the only place where icons (and images) can be useful - Tile Master 2 by the great @bptworld allows a place to use icons repeatedly for on / off switches and sooo much more!

When you use an icon instance in a new component, you should redefine its color even if it already has the desired color. Just change it to something else and then give it the color you want it to have for that state.

I'm new to Google Chrome extensions and I've created one for our website that checks the content of the page you're on and bases on that gets the ID of the server (we have a webfarm with 4 VM's). Now using the server ID, I wan't to change the extension icon to show the number there. I've tried using :

The reason I typically include the Keyboard Maestro icon in these things is so that it is clear and obvious that the window belongs to Keyboard Maestro. Otherwise users can easily get confused where the window comes from and how to deal with it.

Icon Changer is a mobile app that allows users to customize their phone's home screen by changing the app icons. The app offers a vast collection of icons, wallpapers, and themes, which users can use to give their phone a unique look. It's compatible with Android devices and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for free.

The app is easy to use, and users can change the icons in a few simple steps. Once installed, the user can choose an icon pack or create their own custom icons. The app also provides options for customizing the app drawer, font, and lock screen, making it a comprehensive tool for personalizing the phone's appearance.

However, the potential dangers of using Icon Changer, like any other mobile app, depend on how the app is used and the actions of the user. For example, some users might download malicious icon packs or themes from unknown sources, which could lead to security risks, such as malware or spyware infections. Additionally, the app might ask for unnecessary permissions, such as access to the user's contacts, camera, or location, which could compromise the user's privacy and security.

Moreover, if the user is not careful and downloads a theme or icon pack from an untrusted source, they could end up exposing their phone to malicious software that could steal personal information, such as passwords, credit card numbers, and other sensitive data. To minimize these risks, it's essential to only download themes and icon packs from trusted sources and to always read the app's privacy policy and terms of service before installing it.
